Terry followed his passion into the financial services industry eight years ago as a way to continue to serve and assist people. Terry is a 20 year retired Marine veteran followed by 10 years working in support of the Marine Corps Special Operation Forces as a civilian. His firsthand knowledge and background in Military, Veteran Administration and Civil Service benefits, allow him to assist current and retired military and civil service employees transitioning to life’s next stage. Terry excels at sharing financial knowledge through education, both one on one with clients or in group settings.
Terry graduated from Iowa State University with his Bachelors and from Webster University with his MBA. He also has the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation.
He is active in the local veteran community: an active member of Jacksonville VFW Post 9133, serving as a post trustee and on numerous committees throughout the year, Coach/mentor for The Honor Foundation serving transitioning Special Forces personnel, member of the Jacksonville Veterans Business Collective and Guardian for the Cape Fear Honor Flight. Terry and his wife Sharon have been married for 29 years, residing outside Jacksonville, NC with their two malamutes.
